Saint Paraskevi is one of the most beloeved saints women in Orthodoxy. She died as martyr for the faith.
She is the patron of people that problems with eyes, sight and blind people. She is often depicted in icons with her eyes in her hand.
The chapel of St. Paraskevi in Skala dominate the village and the port of Patmos.
The Church is usually closed but an old lady go there frequently to clean the Church so you might be lucky to enter at that time.
Otherwise the other option is to be here on her feast day when liturgy is served to commemorate her on July 26th.
