Patmos Holy Relics
Holy Relics are venerated in the orthodox church.
Through the presence of God in the life of this person and the struggle to be a perfect soldier of Christ, he or she achieved sainthood.
The monastery of St. John in Chora has some very important relics including a piece of the Holy Cross and the body of St. Christodoulos founder of the monastery.
